Nicole McKee and Andrew Hoggard will be launching ACT’s Rural Campaign from a dairy farm in Bunnythorpe, just outside Palmerston North.

This isn’t going to be a sit-down political meeting. We’ll be standing in the milking shed, talking about the issues that actually matter to farmers and rural communities. 

You’re welcome to arrive from 12:30pm to have a yarn with us and the rest of the ACT team beforehand. We’ll be speaking to media at 1:00pm, and we invite you to come along, hear it for yourself, and compare what we actually say with what you see on the news. And because the cows don’t care about the political timetable, milking starts at 3:00pm, so we’ll be well out of their way by then.

A practical note: this is a working farm, so wear boots, gumboots, or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
