Super Saturday Launch – KDC Voter Canvassing
95 RSVPS
After successful trials in Mt Maunganui, Invercargill and East Auckland, we will soon be rolling out our new Knock, Drop & Collect door-to-door surveys.
Join us on the 18th of October between 10am and 12:30pm in your local area for the launch of Super Saturday – A monthly nationwide canvassing effort where 10+ teams filled with MPs, staff, and volunteers will head out for a few hours on a Saturday morning to knock on as many doors as possible.
Unlike traditional canvassing, this involves leaving a survey with voters and collecting it later the same day. When compared to traditional canvassing, we see a significantly higher response rate and more accurate results.
The information we collect allows us to know which parties voters are open to supporting and what issues are important to them so we can better target our future campaigning activities.
Each group will have a lead that will explain and run the session on the day. For those that have not done KDC before, we will pair you up with one of our MPs or a staff member. We’ll also be circulating a how-to guide and video beforehand for those that wish to familiarise themselves with the process.
The feedback from the volunteers who have participated so far has been very positive. Even if you are not keen on door knocking, there are other jobs such as working the board (directing which houses to knock) or collecting the surveys at the end of the session.
If you would like to join us, please RSVP by choosing from one of our selected locations below. We will confirm each location and assign buddy MPs, staff members, and volunteers to sessions once we know how many people we have available in each area.
